A chemical peel is a technique using a chemical solution to improve the appearance of your skin, usually the face, neck and hands. The solution is applied to your skin causing exfoliation and the dead skin will eventually fall off. The new, regenerated skin is much smoother and less wrinkled than the old. The new skin is temporarily more sensitive to the sun. You will begin to peel 2-3 days after application, and peeling should be complete by day seven.
